Getting Started with Iris Secure Financial

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up your account and start managing your finances effectively.

1Create Your Account

Sign up for a free trial account. No credit card required.

  • Visit the signup page and enter your business information
  • Choose your primary language (English or French)
  • Verify your email address

2Configure Your Organization

Set up your organization profile and preferences.

  • Add your company logo and details
  • Select your industry (Bakery, Church, Auto Repair, etc.)
  • Set your default currency and timezone
  • Configure your fiscal year

3Connect Your Bank Accounts

Securely link your bank accounts using Plaid for automatic transaction syncing.

  • Click "Add Bank Account" in the Accounts section
  • Search for your bank and enter credentials
  • Select which accounts to sync
  • Or manually add accounts if your bank isn't supported

4Set Up Categories & Tags

Organize your finances with custom categories and tags.

  • Review default categories or create custom ones
  • Create tags for projects, clients, or departments
  • Mark tax-deductible categories

5Invite Team Members

Add team members and set their permissions.

  • Go to Team section and click "Invite Member"
  • Assign roles (Admin or Member)
  • Set feature-level permissions as needed
